Love this stuffAug 06, 2009
I started researching Manuka Honey for different reasons. If you want a good quality Manuka Honey that really is UMF certified you have to be careful which brand you pick. I havent taken any by mouth yet, but will soon. It smells kind of like medicine, but have tasted it on my lips and it wasnt that bad. I have been using it daily on my face where i have been suffering from adult acne. My face isnt over oily any more and it also isnt over dry. The acne spots i had on my face are clearing up and i have not had any new breakouts. I dont believe this is a miracle but do believe it is killing the bacteria that has been causing the problem on my face. Comvita is a good brand that is licensed and is worth the money that it costs for this little jar.

My local healthfood shop in the UK reccomended that I take Manuka Honey to ward off colds and flu.I took this Comvita honey one month before going on vacation to USA to see my elderly parents.I have tried other brands but for me Comvita is my favourite.
Both of my parents had some kind or very bad flu virus,my father had already been on antibiotics for one months for a chest infection.And upon my arrival my dad was admited into the hospital for his infected chest for 5 days.
To my astonishment no one in the area had heard of manuka honey so I immediately ordered some for my father on Amazon!!!.
After ten days his chest infection was gone.And a week later he went on a 200 mile drive to see my uncle!I didn't catch anything either.Although my entire family sisters,nieces ect...all had the flu.Comvita UMF 15+ Active Manuka HoneyThis stuff works.Try it.It also tastes devine.Not all Manuka honeys are the same the cheaper ones have a waxy flavour and of course the higher the strenth the higher the abiltity to fight off viral and bacterial infections.
