Kamahi - Weinmannia racemosa Hardy and abundant lowland to mountain forest tree of New Zealand with a light to pale yellow, lemon colored honey. It has an intense, musky, and complex dominate aroma. Kamahi honey has a very clean rich and sweet distinctive aftertaste, and a balanced buttery finish. An excellent ingredient for culinary uses as it retains a distinct honey flavour. No sprayed crops in the pollination range makes this a naturally organic honey.
