I bought this as a spot treatment for the occasional acne I get. It is much gentler than the heavy duty tea tree gel I had been using, which only dried up and reddened my skin without clearing up the acne. So far it has proved to work very well for small spots, and - on a whim I decided to try it on a tick bite that had become very painful and swollen. To my surprise it reduced the swelling considerably overnight and no more pain. My mother cut her finger while washing a knife so of course I got her to try some of this on it; she said it didn't sting at all and the cut is healing up nicely. What a great antiseptic!
On their product description, NZ Fusion claims that this is just as good as 100% Manuka oil and more economical because you get more of it. Also, according to NZ Fusion, straight Manuka oil can be too strong for most skin and is better blended with other oils, in this case Lemon Tea Tree oil and Jojoba Oil. I recommend it for older adults with occasional acne but I'm not sure how well it would work for younger users, since it is oil. For my senstive older skin it works very well. I'd say it is good for prevention as well, as I haven't had near the monthly breakouts I used to since I started using this in conjunction with Skin Clear cream.
