I first encountered Tasmanian Beer Shampoo when I was living in Tasmania, and bought it as a novelty item. I read on the box that this could be used to control dandruff. At the time I had been using dandruff shampoos on and off with mixed results. This shampoo when used as directed with an apple cider vinegar rinse completely eliminated dandruff which never came back until I ran out of this product. I searched this country for anything similar, but nothing compared so I ended up writing to the company and asking how I could get it in the USA. They suggested one distributor, the same one Amazon uses, and I had my shampoo back. I used Amazon most recently because I had an Amazon credit card reward certificate. Whether buying straight from Koru Naturals or from Amazon, the service is prompt, no less than 5 star, and the product has no peers whatsoever. Bottom line, if you want a natural product to keep dandruff away, you can't find better than this one.

Leaves your hair squeaky clean, soft, shiny! My sister who lives down under sent me a bar for Christmas. I admit I was a little hesitant to use a "bar of soap" on my hair, but it is incredible! Thick, creamy lather. I've sold several women in my office on this soap. Great product!

Let's face it, beer is good for your hair. After reading how Catherine Zeta - Jones, who has great hair, pours beer on her hair every day I was intrigued. But since I don't drink beer myself I decided to go with the beer shampoo. It made my hair nice and shiney!

Ordered this unique product from an external website [...] before I saw it on Amazon. Fantastic chemical free formula that cleans hair without drying it out...No need for a conditioner! Good for the environment also...no nasty chemicals down the drain and no plastic bottle!

I thought using beer on my hair sounded a bit strange but it is known to do wonders for the fine, limp hair I unfortunately suffer from. So rather than pour bottles of booze on my head, I found this soap and I must say I am very impressed by it. Not only does it clean the hair and scalp, it has a wonderful herbal almost sort of smooth cinnamon spice smell to it which I love. I do not notice any major differences in the way my hair looks but it does make it nice and clean with no irritation to my sensitive skin. This is a good natural alternative to harsh shampoos. If you have dry hair/scalp and sensitive skin you might want to give this a try.
