Absolutely Fabulous!Mar 05, 2011

I have probably used more than twenty different brands of dry clay facial masks (these are the type that you receive dry and then choose a liquid to mix in to make a facial mask). I have to say, as objectively as I can, that every one of the previous clay masks that I have used felt exactly the same as the one before it. That is until I tried the Pontoise French Clay Mask from Koru Naturals in the Yellow French Clay. I could NOT believe the difference! The clay gave the mask a gorgeous silky feeling and it was unbelievably smooth! Once I rinsed it off, my face felt dewy and fresh, not any of the dry feeling that many clays can give. I did use a bit of moisturizer after my mask, but I didn't have to. I have tried so many other clays that I would never have imagined that trying one more would make all the difference! I am truly so pleased!

By S. Darling You know the difference between cookies that are clumpy and crumbly versus smooth and buttery? That's what this is like. I use several other masks but seriously, this one literally does feel like silk (as another reviewer put it). It takes me a good 10 minutes to smooth out the chunks from other clays, and this one almost forms the paste by itself. It feels like smoothing butter over your skin. I don't know if the powder is more dense or more airy! (Which way is up? :) My skin feels soft afterwards, not sapped of moisture. Whatever the secret is, this is now my favorite mask.
